Ferdie is a friendly cheerful foxie about 5 years of age who found himself abandoned in the pound. He is doing really well in his foster home in the Waikato, where he has learnt to be an inside dog.
He is living on a farm and sticks by his foster mums side when she is out with the lambs, calves and ponies. He has great recall and is very attentive and eager to learn.
Ferdie has been neutered and has had several teeth extracted. He is not being fostered with cats, but we think with close supervision and training he will be ok. He is dog and people friendly.
All our dogs are indoor dogs and must live inside, as members of the family. Ferdie needs company and would not thrive as a home alone dog all day while his people go away to work.
Adoptions are subject to our normal approval process and adoption contract. There is an adoption fee to help pay for Ferdies registration, microchipping, vaccinations, health checks and desexing surgery.
