MACK is a 3 year old Border Collie X boy. He is affectionate and smart and soon bonds with people.

He is a high energy dog, and although he is great and very well behaved and chilled out around the house he does need a very good amount of exercise. His foster mum takes him running every day, he is a good running partner and enjoys it.

We are currently working with a trainer with Mack, as he missed out on a lot of basic training in his early life. we are working on lead manners as he pulls hard at the moment and also gets very excited when he sees other dogs. But he is very quick on the uptake and very food driven so is coming on in leaps and bounds. He needs a dedicated owner who will enjoy ongoing training with him and we will give help with that. He would also do better as the only dog so that his owner can concentrate on him and his training.

Mack has been good with other dogs in the pound, we don’t know how he would react to cats or other animals as yet.

As with all ARAN dogs, Mack must sleep indoors and be allowed inside with his family. He must never be kept chained up.

Mack will be de-sexed, is fully vaccinated, is microchipped and registered and is up to date with flea/worm treatments.

There is an adoption donation of $300.00 to help towards these costs.
