Blaze is a 7 year old female Heading Dog, she is an ex farm dog, rescued after she broke a leg.

The leg has been operated on and is healing well though she will always have a slightly wonky gait. Blaze still thinks of herself as a working dog and loves to herd, but because of her leg she can only ever do light work. So the situation we are looking for is a lifestyle block where she can do some light work but live as part of the family. She has got the hang of the good life indoors and on the sofa!

Blaze also needs a calm, quiet home as she is a gentle soul and was very nervous when she first arrived. She is gaining confidence now and coming out of her shell but she does need a steady, tranquil sort of home.

She also needs a cat free home.

She is great wth other dogs and likes people once she gains confidence.

Blaze will be de-sexed , this is mandatory for ARAN dogs and is included in their adoption fee. She will also be vaccinated, microchipped and registered and is up to date with flea/worm treatments.

There is an adoption fee of $300 to contribute towards these costs.
