Bono is a friendly, bouncy 7 year old boxer X who would love a new home. He is jet black, dog social and loves people. The pound manager said he is an exceptionally happy boy. He is around 30kgs and the size of a labrador…he does need to lose a few pounds to be at his ideal weight.

He has just come into ARAN’s care after his extended family surrendered him to the pound when his owner died. He needs a kind person or family to adopt him. He is soft natured and we anticipate that he will be fine with cats.

Bono has clearly been loved and pampered by his previous owner. He will only go to a home where he is allowed to live inside and sleep on the furniture. He will be a faithful and devoted friend to someone who will treat him like a prince.

Bono’s new home must have a safe secure place for him to be while you are out. ARAN dogs cannot be chained to kennels or left for very long periods home alone. All ARAN dogs must sleep indoors.

Bono is desexed, vaccinated, registered and microchipped. The adoption fee is to to help towards these expenses. This is a heavily subsidised amount and represents approximately half of what it would cost you otherwise.

Our adoptions start with a two week trial period, to make sure the dog is a good fit for you. If things don’t work out they return to their foster home.

The first step if you are interested in adopting is to fill out an online adoption application which you can do here:
