Roxy is a 4.5 yr old mixed breed dog. She is a medium/large dog, not huge. She is healthy and a friendly social dog. She has been well trained at some point, has good recall, sits and waits and is good on the lead. Roxy is eager to please and does her best to be a good girl.
Roxy would love a home where she gets lots of exercise, outings and TLC. She is a very loyal dog who would do best in a family with older kids., or as a loyal companion for a lady owner.
Roxy plays well with a variety of dogs, but is best with a confident, energetic robust dog who can keep up with her sometimes over the top games. Roxy is fine with the cat in her foster home.
Roxy’s new home must have a safe secure place for her to be while you are out. ARAN dogs cannot be chained to kennels or left for very long periods home alone. All ARAN dogs must sleep indoors.
Roxy is desexed, vaccinated, registered and microchipped. The adoption fee is to to help towards these expenses. This is a heavily subsidised amount and represents approximately half of what it would cost you otherwise.
Our adoptions start with a two week trial period, to make sure the dog is a good fit for you. If things don’t work out they return to their foster home.
