LOCATED IN WHANGANUI. Lovely Lizzie is in the pound, through no fault of hers, and she just wants to have a kind home and her own family who will love her.
Lizzie is a gorgeous young dog, black Labrador with a bit of collie or pointer in her. She is friendly, good natired and gets on with other dogs. Sorry we have not yet been able to cat test her.
Lizzie would love a home where she gets all the love and attention such a lovely girl deserves, and where she has a (male) dog friend or someone home for most of the day time, so she will need at least one of these in her new home. Lizzie is not a dog who can be left home alone all day while the family goes to work and school.
Lizzie has been de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped and registered and up to date with flea/worm treatments.
There is an adoption fee of $300 to contribute towards these costs. This is heavily subsidised for you and represents approximately half of what it would cost you normally.
Lizzie’s new home must have a safe secure place for her to be while you are out. ARAN dogs cannot be chained to kennels or left for very long periods home alone. All ARAN dogs must sleep indoors.
Our adoptions start with a two week trial period, to make sure the dog is a good fit for you. If things don’t work out they return to their foster home.
