Cruze is a 18 month old American Bulldog X pound rescue. He is a large pup so best suited to owners who are experienced with large breeds.

He’s a nice natured dog. He is not interested in the cat at his foster home, and has formed a great bond with the resident male dog. However, he is untested with other types of animals.

Cruze is relaxed and chilled out around the house. He’s very loving and adores being around people. But he would not cope with a busy noisy household and needs a low stress environment. He is good with other dogs and enjoys meeting them when out. His crate training is coming along well, and he sits politely and waits for his food to be served.

Cruze has been used to having another dog as a playmate and someone home for some of the day time, so he will need at least one of these in his new home.

Cruze has been de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped and registered and is up to date with flea/worm treatments.

There is an adoption fee of $300 to contribute towards these costs. This is heavily subsidised for you and represents approximately half of what it would cost you normally.

Cruze’s new home must have a safe secure place for him to be while you are out. ARAN dogs cannot be chained to kennels or left for very long periods home alone. All ARAN dogs must sleep indoors.

Our adoptions start with a two week trial period, to make sure the dog is a good fit for you. If things don’t work out they return to their foster home.

The first step if you are interested in adopting is to fill out an online adoption application which you can do here: http://www.jotform.com/aranrescuenz/questionnaire
