Ready and waiting for adoption! Is it our turn to get a home yet please?
Our pups get more lovely by the day, they really are the most good looking babies with sweet and confident personalities and they are super keen to find their new homes and loving families.
Stella and Kari are the two girls of the group, all the pups are from the same litter and are now 11 weeks old. We expect them to be medium to large dogs when adult.
Until last week they were all in foster care together in West Auckland but we have now moved them into foster homes either singly or in pairs so that they can have more one on one attention
Please see their individual Trade Me ads for more info and details about adoption 🙂

Beautiful wee babies!!
Gorgeous sweetheart Syd is probably a collie X pointer X bitsa and is located in the lower NI Region. He urgently needs a loving foster or adoptive home as he has been in the pound far too long. Arrangements for travel can be made to other areas to the right, approved home.
Syd was an unclaimed stray, so we have no definite information about him. We believe he is aged around 18 months or younger and we have had him desexed, vaccinated, chipped and registered. There is an adoption fee to help us with these expenses. Syd is good with other dogs, he loves to play, but he is untested with cats.
Syd is a very happy, active boy who would love his own family. His new home must have good fencing and for someone to be home part of the day. All ARAN dogs must sleep indoors and be part of the family. Syd is medium sized so will fit well on the couch with you.

WE'VE BEEN ASKED TO SHARE TO HELP OLLIE FIND HIS FOREVER HOME!
Sadly Ollie's adoption did not work out and he's looking for a new home thats suits his needs better.
Ollie would love to have a hooman all to himself. He is happy to share with cats but prefers to be an only dog. Ollie is great with stock, cats, chickens and other farm animals.
He needs an indoor home where he can be your constant companion and snuggle up to you at night. Ollie is deaf so he does need someone extra understanding and someone who is empathetic to his needs.
Ollie is very good on the dog lead and he knows most basic hand commands.
Could you be the hooman for him? Please contact Anna 0211029977 otherwise please share! ... See MoreSee Less
Check Ollie out having the time of his life.
Very special deaf doggies 🤗.. Very very affectionate we have one in our dog family... Love to be close to you... Hope you find a great home wee man. ❤️
Olly Oliver this dog is is for you and his name ❤️
I hope he finds his forever home! He looks alot like my boy in this pic
Kate Knowles looks like Shultz
We have some gorgeous puppies at the moment and these four are still looking for their forever homes.
Lennon and Phoenix are boys, Stella and Kari are girls, they are ten weeks old.
They were born in our care, their mum is a medium sized Staffy X and their daddy is a mystery man so we are guessing at their ultimate size but it looks to be medium to large, they average 4.2 kg at ten weeks old.
They are confident, happy, energetic pupsters, they sleep well at night and have a good daytime routine of play and naps.
They are in foster care in West Auckland. They will have had their first two vaccinations, (you will need to give them two more boosters) be chipped, registered til July 2023 and will be desexed at the appropriate age. There is an adoption fee of $360 to contribute towards these costs.
If you would like to apply to adopt one of these beauties you can do so here www.jotform.com/aranrescuenz/questionnaire ... See MoreSee Less

Urgent! Auckland foster home needed asap!
Hello folks, Gabriel, our cheerful senior citizen is in urgent need of a place to stay in Auckland. He has a ride booked this Wednesday from the rural pound he is currently in and his foster home has just fallen through. We want him on that ride out on Wednesday!
Gabriel has been playing happily with other dogs while in the pound and has been super friendly and smoochy to pound staff. We don't know how he is with cats.
Gabe is about 8 or 9 years old and has ben vaccinated. He's a Heading Dog x Huntaway sort of mix, more Heading Dog size
As an Aran fosterer you will get full support from one of our team and we will cover all food and veterinary costs. You just need to provide a safe and secure, loving temporary home while we fid him his forever family.
If you can possibly help Gabriel out and you live in Auckland please get in touch! You can email us at email@example.com thanks so much ... See MoreSee Less

We have some really divine pups at the moment folks! They have been born in our care so have benefitted from being with their mum and siblings through their early days.
Mum is a Staffy X and has a very loving nature, she loves all people and dogs. Dad was a wandrin' man so we don't really know who he was! Possibly a Collie type though as many of the pups have one blue eye. The pups don't look like they are going to be too big, we are guessing at medium size when adult.
They have well socialised there, meeting a variety of people, children, other dogs and cats and have had a world of positive experience so far!
They are just on six weeks old and ready to meet potential families from this weekend. They won't leave the nest until they are over 8 weeks old though. If you would like more info about them and how to apply to adopt, please check out their ad here, thank you! www.trademe.co.nz/a/marketplace/pets-animals/dogs/dogs-to-adopt/listing/3696011904?ed=true&bof=bb... ... Beautiful Bo is looking for his forever home.
Located in HAMILTON
Bo is intelligent and a quick learner. His breed is a working/scent dog, so we want him in a home where he can use his traits and with no cats in the household. Bo is crate trained. He would do well in a quiet, rural home, as he is unsure in some situations and needs more confidence building, A steady routine with plenty of exercise and opportunity to use his skills would be good for Bo. Older children used to dogs would be ok. Bo is also an affectionate dog, who loves to snuggle up on the couch with his family.
Bo is de-sexed, fully vaccinated, chipped and registered.
Application to adopt.

URGENT- new forever home needed. Located currently in Palmerston North
Hi lovely ARAN team. We adopted our Riks from you nearly 9 years ago now and she has been an awesome family companion. We are having to move back to the UK asap and don't think it's fair to take her with us.
She is a Kelpie X Whippet and approxiamately 9-10 years old.
Riks is a complete 'homebody', very gentle, loves to lounge in the sun but equally loves to play. She is fantastic with children of all ages but initially weary of men. She warms to anyone give just a little time. She happily uses a small dog flap even though she is of medium size (20kg).
She needs to be kept on a lead when being walked as she reacts to other dogs. In saying that she plays really well with any dog when at home. She also absolutely loves the kennels and has no issues with any other dogs there.
We currently give Riks Propalin on her food morning and night to help with a slightly weak bladder (common in newted female dogs of her age) which has solved the issue completely but will need to be administered ongoing (roughly $80 for bottle that last 3 month plus).
Riks doesn't like cats and has a tendency to chase them.
She's is desexed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. Riks was given a clean bill of health on her last check up at the vets last month.
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you think you could offer her a forever home ... See MoreSee Less
Please take her with you if you possibly can she is your family We brought our dog with us from the UK almost 30 years ago would not have come without her
Would they leave their child behind? A dog is a lifelong commitment
Why is it not fair you take her? More fair than leaving her after 9yrs and at her age .😢
This is hard for you and for her what ever you decide She will have nearly 2 days of stress if you decide you can afford to take her. She will have weeks of stress if you leave her as she learns a new way of life that you have no control over. If you are honest she is not an easy girl from your honest appraisal and may not settle easily in a new home unless you are very lucky. If it is at all possible, take her with you. Good luck and be strong to find the best for you all
I'm sorry but I dont understand how u can get rid of ur fur baby, they're family too, surely u can take her If shes that important to you. Sorry but upsets me seeing people just so easily getting rid of their dogs, I'd never give mine up ever 😥
SHE NEEDS A HOME NOT YOUR OPINIONS! I have just sent a dog to Australia....at a cost of $4000. To England it would be a lot more. People don't have this kind of money floating around. Get real and get positive. If you can't suggest a lovely forever home don't comment please.
A dog will not miss its family for long. It's a dog people!!! The dog will only require a family to feed it and love it, they have unconditional love for anything that shows some love. Find her a loving family and she will forget you and move on with her new one. It's humans that become attached and think they are the only ones right for that dog. Will be harder on the owner, not rhe dog.
Oh gosh she will miss her family 😢 so hard but she will wonder why 😢😢😢 please take her with you !
We adopted a rescue dog and she was a nightmare at the beginning and yes we did consider giving her back but with time and lots of love she has come to love and trust us and is a great companion so dogs if they get the right people can survive all sorts
Oh please take her with you she will be fine...it's easy to get a dog from nz to uk, more difficult the other way.
She's beautiful! Hope you find her a forever home.
We brought our dogs over from the UK with us and it was actually quite tough on them. At best it is 24hrs without leaving their crates and as house trained dogs ours had clearly held on as long as they could. Then there's the anxiety of being in a very strange situation. Glad we don't have to make that decision again.
Awww I wish we could take her but we have a cat 😞 all the best and I’m so sorry you have to rehome her
Aww she is so special
Hope home found soon 💕💕💕
Has Riks found a home?
How sad for the dog.
How can you leave her? The cost?? Not an acceptable reason. Her age?? Nonsense. I brought a 14 year old with me from Scotland. She came off the plane like she had just been for a walk and wagged her tail for another wonderful 3 years. How could you? Its not fair to take her!!? You keep telling yourself that. You might sleep at night
Poor wee dog 💔
Kyle Scott Lucy Jordan Jonti Leslie can we
Looks familiar Bree
Don't judge folks. It's easy to say take her but you don't know the facts. Money. Accommodation, family problems. These will have all been considered before making that decision.
Take her with you, you are her family.
Jen Dallimore Cleooooooooo
Annie Minton she’s cute
Urgent! If you are thinking about fostering, now might be a good time! These two babies are only 4 or 5 months old and need foster homes before we can spring them from the pound. The larger pup (Zebby) is male, the smaller, lighter one (Tiggy) female. They are dog and people social but quite shy and unsure. We are looking for foster homes for them (separate homes is fine, they do not need to be together) in the Auckland area. If you have good fencing, are home for a good part of the day and would like to help us to help these babies then please do get in touch! We cover all food and vet costs and handle all the advertising and re-homing, from you we just need the time, love and secure home environment. Thanks so much! ... See MoreSee Less
Reece - this lovely young Husky x has been in a central North Island pound for waaaay to long and he's starting to go stir crazy. All he wants is to get out and start experiencing life again.
He will need an active home with really good fencing, preferably one where he has daytime company as we think he could well go looking for his people, at least initially.
He has been good with all the humans he has encountered, and also good with other dogs, but is untested with cats.
Is there someone who could give him a chance? ... See MoreSee Less
Hi all. Apologies.
I completely stuffed up our post (reel/story) for these two amazing dogs so I apologise for the extra posts about these amazing dogs but I was so excited to introduce them to you.
These two fantastic dogs are looking for great and fantastic homes.
So I will try again lol.
I personally will get more FB training soon but my time is spent like all of the ARAN team, finding these amazing dogs homes.
So let’s try this again. ❤️❤️❤️🐶🐶🐶
Two fantastic Gentlemen are looking for YOUR loving energetic family home. Who couldn’t love these faces.
First off Introducing Tommy.
This pocket rocket will be a fantastic family pet with your dedication.
Tommy is a young man at 1 year old. He is a Labrador X pup and will require training as this seems to be forgotten by his past owner. But this is a good thing with time and patience as you can train him with your skills and drive.
He is located in Whanganui.
Tommy is still in the pound so he is looking for his forever home but also might need a foster home if your keen to get him out.
Please apply with either of the forms below for Adoption or foster.
Make sure you see his video in the comments.
Also Marbles is looking for his forever home. He is located in the Manawatu region.
In foster he has found that a ball is the best toy ever. He would suit a family with older kids that could throw the ball for him whilst multitasking with homework and social commitments.
Marbles is a fantastic 3 year old mixed breed possibly whippet.
Marbles loves a good run, so someone wanting a dog to exercise with could be a good fit. He has a lovely nature, but needs training. A family with older children would be best and no cats.
Marbles ignores cats, stock and small dogs 👌
Check out his video in the comments.
Tommy and Marbles will be de-sexed, fully vaccinated, chipped and registered.
If you could help Tommy and Marbles start Their new life please fill in our application form to adopt him.

Thanks so much to everyone who shared, commented or emailed us offering Sophie a home. She has several great options and for that we’re so very grateful 😊
Community Rehome (the ARAN Team have not met Sophie). Located in Devonport, North Shore, Auckland.
Sophie is a 10yr old Swedish Vallhund and is in excellent health. She is desexed and has had her yearly vaccinations since being with mum for 3 years, but she's a little over weight. She doesn't have any health issues other than one of her back legs give her a slight limp every so often. She is still quite active and plays well with my 3 dogs. She is also good with children and is gentle with my19 month old grandson.
Sophies 1st owner lived on a lifestyle block and I believe she was very happy there then my mum took her as her owner passed away. She has been a great companion dog for mum but mum is now physically unable to exercise her properly, and now Sophie is so keen to go out that she pulls on the lead when walking. Good fencing is essential as she has no road sense.
If you can offer Sophie her last / forever home please email us at email@example.com and we will put you in touch with her owners. ... See MoreSee Less
