Lovely Indie is a medium sized husky mix, about 14 months of age, possibly with collie or labrador. She is a sweet friendly dog who was unclaimed at the pound, therefore we have no history for her. So we don’t know how she is with cats etc. She has been friendly with pound staff and other dogs, and she is calmer than a husky, not so hypey. She is a bit of a baby, very eager to please and learn.
There is an adoption fee of $300 to contribute towards our costs of having Indie vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, wormed and deflead, registered and microchipped. This is a heaviliy subsidised cost, representing less than half you would pay otherwise to have all that done.
Her new home must have a safe secure place for her to be while you are out. ARAN dogs cannot be chained to kennels or left for very long periods home alone. All ARAN dogs must sleep indoors.
There is an approval process for applicants to go through and our adoptions start with a two week trial period, to make sure the dog is a good fit for you. If things don’t work out they return to their foster home.
